Summer Under The Sun...
Summer is the time we move our cattle up to their feeding
grounds in the foothills. If you plan your trip for the summer, you ride
with the ranchers, moving cattle. the chores keep us all busy, but we're
not too busy to enjoy outdoor fun like the Fourth of July rodeo, Butch oven
cooking, and cowboy poetry readings, and country line dancing. You may
choose to explore the land a bit, tour the ranches, or hunt for fossils in a
valley rich in palentological history. You'll also get to enjoy the sweet
taste of local bush-ripened raspberries, especially delicious when accompanied
by homemade ice cream.
Average spring temperatures range from a high of 79º to a
low of 41º
