Autumn Is Spectacular...

If you arrive during the fall, you may be able to work a classic roundup.  We'll move the cattle from the mountains back down to the valley where they range for the winter.  this is also the time we harvest the last of the hay and store it to feed the animals through the winter.  It's the time of year for hayrides, and there is nothing like sipping hot cider, while riding in a wagon on a crisp autumn day.  the colors of the leaves changing are breath-taking, and wildlife-deer, moose, geese, and ducks-is abundant.  During fall we preserve our food, cut and split wood and generally prepare for the coming winter.

Average spring temperatures range from a high of 57º to a low of 24º
